Express Entry Latest Draw 2022

Express Entry Latest Draw 2022

To expedite the immigration of talented professionals, the Canadian immigration agency launched Express Entry, an online application management system, in 2015. And it has emerged as the most well-liked immigration system worldwide.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score is used by the Canadian government to rank the applicants in an Express Entry draw before inviting them to submit a PR application.

Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and Canadian Experience Class applicants are welcome to submit applications (CEC).

Latest Express Entry Draw

Candidates from all three Express Entry programs—Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Federal Skilled Trades (FST)—were taken into account in the draw on August 17. 2,250 applicants received an Invitation to Apply (ITA). The CRS cutoff was 525.

1. Federal Skilled Worker (Express Entry)

Working professionals from other nations can immigrate to Canada quickly using this program. Skilled applicants in managerial, technical, or professional positions should apply: Federal Skilled Worker Program .

Authorities assess age, education, and employment status for Canadian PR eligibility. Candidates must score at least 67 points out of 100 to qualify: Canadian PR Visa.

Applicants must demonstrate language proficiency and sufficient financial support when applying through Express Entry.

2. Federal Skilled Trades Program (Express Entry)

The Skilled Trades Program is ideal for electricians, builders, cooks, agricultural managers, and industrial trade workers. Learn more: Express Entry System .

To qualify under the Federal Skilled Trades program, applicants must have at least two years of full-time work experience or five years of part-time experience. A CLB 5 or higher score is required along with a provincial certificate of qualification.

3. Canadian Experience Class (Express Entry)

The CEC program allows professionals who have worked in Canada to gain permanent residency more easily and settle permanently.

Applicants must meet job experience and education requirements to apply: Canadian Immigration.

You must demonstrate English or French language skills via exams like IELTS or CELPIP.

Candidates also require at least 1,560 hours of job experience in Canada through full-time or part-time employment under valid temporary status.

Effect of Covid-19 on Express Entry

Canada introduced multiple policies and travel restrictions to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Express Entry draws were not affected and continue regularly with increased invitations issued.

Expectations for the next Express Entry draw

CRS cutoffs have gradually declined since July as all-program draws resumed. Higher current scores stem from candidate backlogs created during program pauses.

Express Entry Tie-breaking rule

IRCC implemented tie-breaking in June 2017 to prioritize profiles with earlier submission timestamps among candidates with equal CRS scores.
