The UK government has announced recently that more professionals will be relieved from the Tier 2 visa salary, after the concerns were raised that the initial 30,000 limit would lead to a post-Brexit staffing crisis in schools and hospitals.
It is announced that the non EEA citizens coming to the UK to work as nurses, paramedics, medical radiographers and secondary school teachers for STEM and Mandarin, will only need to meet the lower rate of 20,800 from 30 March onwards.
Caroline Nokes, Immigration Minister, UK, said that the exemptions were introduced to attract and hire more and more nurses, paramedics and teachers from overseas.
