In accordance with the Human Capital Priorities stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), 1,696 invitations for Canadian PR were issued in the latest Ontario Express Entry draw.
A Notification of Interest has been sent to valid Express Entry profiles formed between September 26, 2022, and September 26, 2023 with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 350 and 462.
The OINP HCP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program Human Capital Priorities) also creates tailored profiles with a background in one of the five healthcare professions listed below.
- NOC 31102 – General practitioners and family physicians
- NOC 31300 – Nursing coordinators and supervisors
- NOC 31301 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
- NOC 32101 – Licensed practical nurses
- NOC 33102 – Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
Provincial nomination raises the CRS score by 600 points, so to receive a PNP Nomination to apply, the government gives these profiles 45 days. When invited profiles accept this invitation, their CRS scores will add up to 969–1038, guaranteeing their inclusion in the upcoming IRCC Express Entry draw.
OINP chooses the candidates directly from the pool of active Express Entry profiles, with Ontario often selected as the destination province.
