DUBAI, October 24 As per a joint statement, Denmark’s DSV, which is the third largest goods forwarder globally, and Saudi Arabia’s $500 billion flagship project, NEOM, established a $10 billion joint venture (JV) on Tuesday.
In 2017, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman revealed plans for NEOM, aiming to diversify the economy away from oil. The project is expected to house 9 million people eventually.
In upcoming years, the collaboration will concentrate on offering logistical services to NEOM, according to the announcement, which also stated that DSV will own 49% and NEOM will own 51% of the joint venture.
“The joint venture will provide from beginning to end supply chain management, growth, and expansions in logistics and transportation facilities and architecture as well as transportation and delivery of products and supplies within NEOM,” the two firms stated.

More than 20″000 job possibilities are anticipated as a result of the JV, they continued. NEOM, a state-of-the-art development spanning over 26 Neom kilometers (10,230 square miles) on the Red Sea, is supported by the Public Investment Fund, which is the sovereign wealth fund of the country.
