Job Description:
- The Technician - Bonder & Laminator is responsible for the preparation, bonding, and lamination of Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) pipes in accordance with industry standards and company specifications.
- This role requires a strong understanding of composite materials, laminating techniques, and quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality GRE products.
- Should be willing to work in remote Oil and Gas project location.
Knowledge & Qualification:
- Technical degree or certification in composites or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in bonding and laminating, particularly with composite materials, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with GRE pipe manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Install and join GRE piping as per drawings, specifications, and manufacturer procedures.
- Perform cutting, grinding, lamination, and bonding using approved tools.
- Interpret isometric and P&ID drawings for correct routing and alignment.
- Assist with prefabrication, inspections, and pressure testing of GRE joints.
- Follow all safety requirements when handling GRE materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with other teams and maintain proper storage and housekeeping of materials.
- Support flushing, testing, and commissioning activities.
