Job Description:
- Oversee and guide helper or apprentice setters, delegating tasks and providing on-the-job training to enhance efficiency.
- Set ceramic, porcelain, glass, and natural stone tile on walls, floors, and ceilings using mortar or adhesive, ensuring precise alignment, leveling, and spacing.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
Knowledge & Qualification:
- Proven experience as a tile setter, typically with 2+ years of professional experience, including prior leadership or supervisory roles.
- High level of endurance, including the ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials
Role & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with site managers, order materials, and manage inventory to prevent project delays
- Review blueprints or layout patterns, measuring accurately to cut tiles using wet saws, snap cutters, and grinders.
