Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Steel Erector Team Leader to manage and direct a team in the erection and installation of steel structures on construction sites. The team leader will ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
Knowledge & Qualification:
- Proven experience as a Steel Erector, with leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of steel erection processes, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
- Physical fitness to work at heights and handle heavy materials.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a team of steel erectors in the assembly, installation, and alignment of steel structures.
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure all steel erection work meets project requirements and safety standards.
- Plan and execute daily tasks, ensuring work is completed on time.
- Inspect work progress and quality to ensure adherence to standards.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, other trades, and team members.
- Ensure the maintenance and proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
