Job Description:
- Cleaning and preparing surfaces by removing dust, dirt, grease, and old sealant to ensure proper adhesion of the new silicone sealant.
- Choosing tile appropriate type and color of silicone sealant basedon the specific application and requirements.
- Using specialized tools, such as caulking guns and spatulas, to apply silicone sealant evenly and neatly along joints and seams.
Knowledge & Qualification:
- Basic knowledge of silicone types and sealants used in construction.
- Understanding of surface preparation and sealing techniques.
- Ability to use silicone application tools properly.
- Knowledge of safety practices on construction sites.
- Attention to detail to ensure clean and accurate finishing.
- Ability to work at heights if required.
- Basic education high school or equivalent is preferred.
- Training or experience in silicone application, sealing, or related construction work.
- Previous experience in glazing, aluminum works, or façade works is an advantage.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Apply silicone sealant to joints, edges, and gaps in materials such as glass, aluminum, tiles, and panels.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, removing dust, old sealant, or debris before applying silicone.
- Ensure smooth, neat, and consistent finishing of sealant lines.
- Use appropriate tools such as silicone guns, cutters, scrapers, and finishing tools.
- Follow project drawings or instructions to apply sealant in the correct areas.
- Inspect work areas to ensure proper sealing and prevent leakage.
