Job Description:
- To work as a Steel Fixer.
Knowledge & Qualification:
- On-the-job experience in construction and knowledge of steel fixing techniques, often gained through vocational training or apprenticeships.
- Ability to read blueprints, use steel fixing tools, perform accurate calculations, and maintain physical fitness for heavy lifting.
- Basic safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) and understanding of construction safety regulations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with engineers and construction teams effectively.
- GCC returned candidate.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Cut, bend, and fix steel bars and mesh into place according to construction plans.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for precise steel reinforcement placement.
- Ensure proper alignment and secure steel reinforcements using various tools and fastening methods.
- Adhere to safety regulations and collaborate with other construction workers to complete tasks efficiently.
