Job Description:
- To Physically operate the Pipe Lay Tensioner as per the operating manual instructions and standard. Personally carries out the preventive maintenance trouble shooting & repair of fully automatic
- semi automatic pipe laying tensioner system and pipe handling equipment as per established maintenance procedures to ensure safe continous and efficient operation of tensioners and related pipe lay equipment with minimum breakdown time.
Knowledge & Qualification:
- 3 years Diploma in Electronics Engineering and undergone Electronics trade training, Good standard of written
- Spoken english Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals in English. 5years experience in offshore pipe lay barges/ships mainly on SAS westech HMD REMACUTT tensioners and pipe.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Installations repair maintenance and functional test of marine V sat comminications system which includes gyro stabilised antenna advanced satellite
