In the event of no deal and no transitional period coming into force, the UK government has proposed that a new temporary migration regime will be put in place for EU nationals arriving after 30 March, 2019. This system will be there till 31 December, 2020. It is anticipated that a new comprehensive immigration regime will come into force by then for the people that wish to come and work in the UK.
If you are an EU national and want to arrive to work, study and live in the UK, you can do that under the no-deal scenario. However, if you want to stay there after three months, you will have to apply for a new ETLR (European Temporary Leave to Remain status. ETLR will be valid for next 36 months, once approved.
