The most recent addition to DSS’s services roster
is its portfolio of Outsourced services. DSS has introduced
these services in response to increasing demand from
Refinery clients for outsourced services. Skilled professionals
for the refinery industry are becoming hard to locate
and retain and outsourcing gives clients one method
of dealing with the scarcity of people. Under this area
of services DSS enters into a long term contract with
the client to supply a team of people to manage a Manufacturing
or Production plant. Typically, the client is able to
achieve substantial cost savings as DSS handles the
process on an end to end turnkey basis. DSS works with
the client to identify and select a team of suitable
resources who meet the client’s requirements; DSS
then deploys the resources to the client side where,
amongst other things, their accommodation, food, transportation,
support services (laundry, cleaning etc.), insurance
and day to day management is handled by DSS. Under this
model, the client’s risk is mitigated since the
client does not need to maintain the resources on its
rolls and moreover, the client can optimize its resource
needs by deploying only those resources which are required,
when they are required and eventually de-mobilizing
the resources based one project needs. Most importantly,
DSS offers a no cost replacement guarantee for those
resources who do not meet the client’s expectations.
The client can achieve superior cost management since
we can clearly forecast its resource costs and does
not need to incur additional costs for non performing
resources. |
